1. What is an Online Coupon?

Online coupons are a set of alphabets or numbers that are used only over the Internet at e-retailers to help consumers receive a discount on a specific product or on the entire order value. Coupons are issued by manufacturers/stores/brands to give consumers immediate discounts on the purchase of the specified items, which may be virtually any product found in retail stores. These coupons are usually a combination of letters, numbers or any special characters. Consumers enter this coupon code on a site’s checkout page to avail a discount (such as a percentage off, free shipping or any other promotional offer) on their order(s).

NOTE: They are only valid online and not in any retail store. These are also known as promo codes, digital coupon, promotional code, e-coupon or voucher code.
2. How can I use coupons?

On any store coupon page at Frugaa – you have to click on the “SHOW COUPON CODE” button. We’ll copy the code for you and open the respective offer page on the store’s website. While you check out on the store’s website, paste the code in the promo/coupon code field and click on apply. Review your updated cart and final price to ensure it reflects the coupon savings.

NOTE: In some cases, a particular discount can be availed by going to a special offer page and doesn’t need a specific coupon code. In such cases, clicking on ‘SHOW COUPON CODE’ will automatically activate the offer and we’ll take you to the store’s specific offer page.
3. What if a coupon doesn’t work?

We make our best effort to ensure that all our coupons are tested and valid. However, there are certain situations which could lead to a non-working coupon code:

  1. A coupon code may be limited to one-time use per user.
  2. A coupon code might have a limited number of uses which causes it to expire before the set expiry date.
  3. Expiration of coupons earlier than the original expiration date.
  4. The participating vendor, merchant or store terminates the coupon without prior notification

In order to provide the most pleasant & satisfying experience to you, we at Frugaa, rely on your inputs using our rating and commenting systems. Every coupon can be rated and commented by any visitor and typically a non-working coupon would get a bunch of negative votes (or comments) with a few hours. Our system will automatically demote such coupons over time, but it should also help you identify and avoid them.

4. Can I vote on a coupon?

Absolutely! You can use the rating buttons next to any coupon/offer on our site and use the appropriate thumbs-up or thumbs-down button to share your experience/rating. We strongly encourage you to use our rating and commenting system – as it helps us in taking out the bad coupons and improves the overall experience for you and other users.

5. How do I add a comment?

Just like the voting system, every coupon/offer on our site has a comment section – where you can share your experience by leaving a comment. We strongly encourage you to comment about your experience and help us improve our system with your valuable feedback. Remember that sharing your experience is a way to care about the community of other online shoppers. Typical comments include feedback like how much you saved on your order using this coupon, or simple appreciation on what you saved.

6. How do I find coupons for a specific store?

There are two ways you can find coupons for your favorite store.

  1. Using the coupon search box at the top-right section of any page on our site – you can search by store name, product name, specific deal/offer or coupon code.
  2. Using the Stores page and navigating to your favorite store.

7. What is Marketplace all about?

Frugaa marketplace is our own online shop where we sell some great, cool products at unbeatable prices! We have a unique inventory and we keep adding new products daily – so be sure to check out our product catalog. Several products are moved to a clearance sale section periodically when their prices are slashed by up to 50% or more.

8. Do I need to register or log in before placing an order?

No, you can order anything at our marketplace and checkout as a guest. However, we strongly encourage you to register on our site before ordering as this will help us save your shipping information, order history, tracking information, etc. Moreover, we periodically reward returning customers with exclusive single-use coupons and the only way for you to get rewarded my ordering as a registered user.

9. What if I forgot my password?
  1. Go to My Account page and click on ‘lost password’ link.
  2. Enter the email address you used to register/login at Frugaa and click on "submit".
  3. You will receive a confirmation link in your inbox which you can use to reset your password.
10. Do I have to pay for signing up or is it free?

Registration at Frugaa is 100% free and open to everyone.

11. Is my personal information secure on your site?

Absolutely! We take our customers privacy and information security very seriously. All your information is 100% secure with us. We will never use it for anything else other than your saving in own account and using for your future orders. 12. Where do I start if I want to purchase a product from marketplace?
  1. Go to the Marketplace page and use our product search to find your product/item.
  2. Alternately, browse our product catalog or select the desired product category.
  3. Check availability and add the respective item to your cart.
  4. Proceed to checkout and complete your purchase.
13. Which countries do you ship to?

All of our items are available to ship within the United States. Most products are also eligible for Canadian shipping. Specific information about shipping for each product varies and it is detailed out under the “Shipping” tab on every individual product page. Associated tax and shipping charges will be calculated in your shopping cart at the time of checkout.

14. What forms of shipping options are available?

All of our products are shipped out using standard shipping – and most of them qualify for free shipping. Expedited shipping (with additional cost) may be available on certain products.

15. How do I know my order has been confirmed?

You will receive an email with the order confirmation details including a unique order number, when you complete your purchase. Moreover, you will receive order status updates by email when payment authorization is complete, order is being processed and when your item is shipped out. Shipping details will be provided with the respective tracking number(s) once your item has been shipped.

16. When can I expect the delivery of my order/product?
  1. It takes about 48 hours (usually much lesser) for payment authorization confirmation before we begin processing your order.
  2. Order processing is usually completed within 3-5 business days.
  3. Upon completing order processing, your item is shipped out and it typically takes 8-10 days (usually lesser) for the shipment to be delivered to your shipping address.

NOTE: Shipping timeline may sometimes vary and take longer than the days stated above, depending on your location, country & address.

17. How can I check the status of my order?

You can track your order status anytime by following these steps:

  1. Go to the My Account page (you might need to log in if you haven’t already)
  2. Check out the Recent Orders section.
  3. You can view your order number and current order status.
  4. You can also track your shipment using the tracking information.
18. What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept payments using PayPal only. PayPal is 100% safe/secure and you can use a credit card to make your payment from PayPal.

19. How can I cancel my order, return a product and/or request a refund?

The following section explains our cancellation, return and refund policy:

  1. You can cancel your order during the payment authorization phase or processing phase.
  2. To cancel your order, please contact our customer service by sending  an email to cancellation [at] frugaa.com.
    1. Please include your order number and a reason for cancellation.
    2. You will receive a full refund upon verification and confirmation from our customer service – within 48 hours.
  3. Once your order status has been updated to “completed” – you can’t cancel your order.
  4. Upon receiving your product shipment, if you wish to return your item – you can initiate an RMA (return merchandise authorization) request by sending an email to rma [at] frugaa.com.
    1. You would have to bear the return shipping costs for all returns.
    2. Information specific to each return will be provided by email in response to each RMA request.
    3. There will be a 25% restocking fee applied to all returns – the adjusted amount will be refunded in the form of store credit or coupon; usable for any purchase at Frugaa marketplace.
    4. Adjusted store credit refunds only apply to unopened products returned as-is. For any product that has been opened, no refunds of any form will be honored.
    5. The processing time for any RMA request is typically 10-15 business days.

20. Are there any other hidden charges applicable, when I purchase on Frugaa.com?

There are absolutely “NO” hidden charges when you make a purchase on Frugaa.com! All the prices listed on the respective product pages is exactly what you end up paying. The only additional charge on select products could be expedited shipping, which will be clearly indicated under the ‘Shipping’ tab for that product.
