Christmas is nearly here with all its love, gifts, parties, family reunions and so much more! It is absolutely the loveliest, holiest and most perfect moment of the year to share memories and laughter, but it can also be the craziest moment of the month when you don’t know what is the best way to decorate the house for your family and guests.

Since time is precious and there is not much time left until Christmas, we thought to create a list with home decorations ideas that could help you create the perfect atmosphere.

Christmas Decoration

1. Snowflakes
Small, medium or large, paper or stickers, snowflakes are an optimal choice to display on the windows or hang them around your rooms. They are cute, symbolic and kids will surely love them.

2. Stockings
Who doesn’t love waking up in the morning and see what Santa has left in the stocking bag? Stockings are a must-have item for Christmas which you could match with the other decorations. Moreover, you can also personalize them with messages, names or texts.
In order to make the Christmas morning funnier, you can hang extra stockings around on the walls, shelves or stairs and have everyone guessing where their gifts are.

3. Christmas Globes
Imagination has no limits! Globes are the perfect ornaments for every place in the house, not only for the Christmas tree. You can let your imagination take the lead and decorate your rooms by hanging the Christmas globes on the doors, stairs or walls.

4.  Scented candles
Scented candles will gently add a sweet touch to your Christmas. Depending on whether you choose a theme decoration or not, scented candles come with different fragrances and colors like silver, gold, red or peppermint, ginger, spiced apples and oranges. It is not always necessary to light the candles as most of them have a strong fragrance on their own.  Ideally would be to display different sizes and colors of decorative candle holders on the shelves or tables as it will give your room or table a bit of spark.

5. Garland
Garlands must not miss from your decoration list! They will be the main element for all the other ornaments which will add color and cheer to your interior. You can use green garlands to decorate the edges of your tables or closet, the edges of your doors or bannisters. Again, based on the theme you chose, you can select which ornament will go best with the garlands. You could decorate it with small figurines, gold/silver/red/blue ribbons, globes, stockings, lights, sweets, bells etc. Additionally, you can spray the garland with artificial snow just to create a winter view around the house.

6. Lights
If you have extra lights or you have bought them and don’t know where to use them as decorations, the answer is everywhere! Shelves, around windows, around table or hanged on the walls. You can either choose multicolor lights or you can choose two colors if you have a Christmas theme. They will create a warm and sparkling atmosphere!

7. Christmas Tree

Last, but not least, the Christmas tree is by definition the most important element and symbol of the holiday. You will be surprised by how many themes, decorations or colors you can choose that will simply capture everyone’s attention and admiration.

Few of the most beautiful themes include:

White Tree: decorated with white snowflakes, paper doves and sliver ornaments, this theme will perfectly match with the interior ornaments if you chose to go silver or white this season.
Three Kings Tree: this theme is dedicated to the three kings who came to see Lord Jesus and brought him precious gifts. Therefore, the theme includes colors like gold, purple and sapphire. You can also add small golden figurines, purple globes or adhesive jewels.
Icy Tree: if you want to create a wintery atmosphere and you opted for blue, white and silver for the interiors, then the Icy Tree will be the final touch to your decorations. You can decorate it with blue lights, white globes, silver scattering large snowflakes and blue ribbons.
