What is it about a curved UHD television set that would make it so special? Granted, a curved TV could be ideal if you wanted to watch a big-screen movie or sporting event. But what is it about the new curved screen prototype that Samsung is using for its UHD TV that makes it so different from what’s outside the market?

There are many features of the newest curved screen prototype that Samsung has revealed that make this such an interesting product to take a look at. Whether or not you’ll actually have a chance to buy this on the market is unclear, what with it being a prototype and all. Still, the features of this set make for something particularly appealing.

Amazing Resolution and Sizes

It’s already well understood that UHD TV will provide people with the most amazing picture quality that you could ever experience. Samsung is designed UHD TV sets that will use a 5120×2160 resolution, a total that is much stronger than the 1080p sets that we’re used to today. You’ll find an amazing view that is capable of creating a strong attention to detail for even the largest and most complex images around. It is certainly a unique setup that will make your set all the more entertaining.

However, Samsung is looking to design many of these sets for more homes and businesses based on their size needs. While the 105-inch model that Samsung recently released is appealing, there are 55, 65 and 78-inch models that Samsung will be looking to release. They are all 4K LCD TVs that are capable of getting such a great resolution up and running.

Samsung has not released details on the prices for any of these models. Still, it makes for a particularly unique selection of models to choose from.

What about the Back Panel?

The back panel on the UHD TV prototype is particularly unique. It is not made up with some extremely complicated bits of metal but rather a single curved hardwood piece. This makes it light in weight and slim in its design. This design is especially conducive for managing the micro-dimming features on some of its light panels to make the picture more realistic. The screen will be easy to manage and won’t be too complicated or tough.

Auto Depth Enhancements Make it Work

The Auto Depth Enhancer feature of this new prototype should prove to be a real game changer. This will review the image and analyze parts to see what is in the foreground and what is in the back. The contrast in each individual plane will be adjusted in order to appropriately create different planes of resolution.

This is to create a more in-depth experience that even feels like you’re watching a three-dimensional image without glasses. That’s something that could be particularly interesting what with the 3D TV craze dying out faster than it started. Perhaps Samsung might have something in this model that makes it different from what people were thinking about when they first saw 3D TVs.

The Concave/Convex Display Also Makes for a Strong Setup

The curves used on this television set create a strong effect that makes for a more immersive image. The important aspect of this display is that it is made with both a concave and convex setup. What this means is that the screen will be easy to adjust in accordance to the needs you may have. You can choose to have a flat screen if you want to just watch regular programming or a curved design for when you want to watch something special.

The bendable nature of the set makes it capable of flexing and moving itself around with ease. It is a unique design that makes it easier for the setup to be adjusted based on what one might prefer to use.

It’s unclear as to whether or not the display option is going to truly make a difference but it will make for something that is exciting and unique. The curved screen UHD TV prototype that Samsung has released will make for something that is special and impressive in design while also having a strong attention to detail.
