Well, that kind of joy can be just a quick trip away. There are various preserves and parks that are dedicated to making sure animals have a place to roam free. Well Chincoteague has up to one hundred and fifty ponies at the habitat at any given time. In addition, these horses are running free and wild, so you will get to see them in their entire natural splendor. You can also get to see the Delmarva Fox Squirrel, an endangered species of gray squirrel that can only be found in Chincoteague. And you can see many other animals as well, since Chincoteague boasts a wide variety of habitats, from forests to dunes and many more. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is another great place to go to see wildlife in action. There are many different great attractions to be found. One such experience is the Africa Tram. Take the tram and go on wonderful guided tours, observing the amazing animals from throughout Africa every inch of the way.  There are also the various animal encounters you can have. With trainers and keepers standing by, you can get up close and personal with some very fascinating and exotic creatures.  And bring the kids! There are multiple play areas designed to entertain the little ones. Go to the cool zone where palm trees and animal themed water fountains make for a very refreshing experience. Alternatively, just stop by one of the various playgrounds. Your kids will have a blast. The National Bison Range was founded by Theodore Roosevelt himself in order to keep the majestic creatures alive. And thanks to him, today, if you want to witness these great beasts roaming free across the land, then you can do just that. You can get to see approximately three hundred and fifty bison within the Nation Bison Range. These animals were the largest mammals in North America, and if it weren’t for Roosevelt they might not still be here. So if you want to learn more about these breathtaking beasts then this is the place for you. But don’t let the name fool you. The National Bison Range is home to many more animals as well. You have many birds. And yes, you even have the deer and buffalo. Truly the National Bison Range is home to North America’s finest wildlife.

Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary

Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary is another great place to see. Based out of New York, it truly is a sanctuary for animals. The Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary takes in all manner of animals that were rescued from slaughterhouses, auctions, or just plain injured. Every day they are making the world a better place for these poor creatures, and if nothing else, they should be supported for doing so. In addition, the animals need your love and affection as well. You get to help poor calves that have been injured or mistreated and many other animals as well. You will enjoy this truly rewarding experience immensely.
